Perfect family vacation spot! Highly recommended!!
Amazing views, every room...and I mean EVERY ROOM has a view, cabins available but reserve early...like 6 months early! Restaurant is very good. Alcohol available with club membership (requires a signiture..no fees). Great trails. Meeting rooms available. Indoor pool.
This place is a real treasure for those trying to get away for a quiet relaxing break away from the world.
I decided to include some photos of the room because I noticed there aren't many posted. We stayed on the third floor in a regular room (not a suite) with a king size bed. We enjoyed the jacuzzi tub after hiking all day, and the bed was very comfortable. The third floor rooms have vaulted ceilings, which is a nice feature and makes the room feel larger. The little balcony was a nice touch as well. There's even a screen door so if you'd like to feel the breeze, you can leave the glass door open and not have to worry about getting bugs in the room. The rooms seem to be a little better insulated than your standard hotel; we didn't hear any noise from other guests.
I loved staying here! It is so beautiful, and the rooms are very clean. They have several hiking trails as well, and the views are fantastic! They have a restaurant, indoor swimming pool, fitness center, gaming room, and free Wi-Fi. Also, some rooms are pet- friendly, we saw a few people enter with their dogs
Unparalleled 180 degrees scenic view of the valley n lake below and mountains n plateau in the horizon. One of those unique places where you can watch both sunrise n sunset from room balcony. Simply amazing! Felt like I was on a cruise ship with nothing to block my view. Rocking chairs on the porch outside is the icing on the cake.
Amazing restaurant, well planned spacious rooms with balcony in all rooms, luxurious pool and gameroom for my kids. Beautiful state park around with great hikes and plenty of activities! Enjoyed 3 whole days in the park n lodge. Difficult to leave mount magazine resort and go home
Gorgeous views. Excellent trails. Only food is restaraunt, but good food. A fire pit outside would have been a good addition. Lodge is clean, rooms are simple but nice. Wi-Fi works well. Hot tub not very hot. For outside activities, it is superb destination. Otherwise, get a little bored.
This was our first time here and we were only able to stay one night, but we really enjoyed it. We did some hiking on trails near the lodge and got to enjoy some spectacular views. Since our time was so short, we stayed busy! We plan to come back again and stay longer, so we can just relax and enjoy the scenery.
