Excellent place for camping or just a drive-by. Although the place itself does not have restrooms or vending machines for travellers, there is a visitor center at Mt. Magazine just 15 min north of here.
Nice lake. Water clearer than most lakes in area. Fun trying to catch sun fish with hands
Great experience. Rented 2 cabins for a girls weekend.We all really enjoyed. The only thing we didn't like was no water close to cabin but know know to bring next time. Also went on the ATV ride. Loved everything.
We had lots of fun! It was our first time camping and we loved it. The lady at the entrance was really friendly and was of lots of help. The only thing is there are no running bathrooms in the camping grounds you have to go down to the swimming area for the showers which was fine. Will definitely be back again to camp here.
Cabins are $35 a night no frills but 2 full size beds (bunk beds), mini fridge, electric, bring your own bedding, plus Air Conditioning
